Hidden numbers

Each letter stands for a number

Hidden numbers times tables
Year 2 (age 6-7)

Years 2-6 (age 6-11)

G11: Multiplication tables a variety of times tables in grids
Option 1: 1,2,5 and 10 times Option 2: 1,2,3,4,5 and 10 times Option 3: 1 to 10 times
Click on this button to cover either the answers (ie what is 3 x 5?) or random numbers.
Health warning!..it might not always be possible to work out all the missing numbers when the random option is chosen...go on live dangerously!

Year 5 (age 9-10)

Year 6 (age 10-11)

Complete this multiplication table

G2: Multiplication table 1
G3:
Multiplication table 2 more difficult

Times tables in code

G6: Which times table?
The answers are shown so that you see which times table has been used.
A times table is in code. The letters A to J each stand for a digit 0 to 9. Work out what digit each letter stands for and which times table it is.
Use the '2 to 20' buttons to generate a new coded times table. The 11 to 20 times tables go from 1 times to 10 times eg 1 x 14 ... 10 x 14.

 Know doubles and halves

Year 2 (age 6-7)

Use these buttons to show or hide the eyes and feet and generate a new worksheet

Year 3 (age 7-8)

G10: More halving and doubling
eg double 25 = ?, half of 46

Year 4 (age 8-9)

G4: Doubles and halves
Use the buttons to choose between showing the questions like 12 x 2 or double 12. The 1, 2, 3 buttons determine which number is hidden.

Year 6 (age 10-11)
Doubles in code

G5: Which doubles?
Coded doubles. The letters A to J each stand for a digit 0 to 9. Work out what digit each letter stands for.
